in the know

becuase i've checked my e mail 3 times in less than 5 hours
becuase i dont even have a mobile to msg and even more so
because being kept in the dark and playing guessing games isnt my kind of thing

my theory is this:
an sms takes no longer than 10 mins, how torturous could it get?
an email requires no more than 2 mins. one liners might find this familiar.

a day ago, i was on the verge of impatience.
and i dont remember being known for much patience when i've got no control.

yeah, perceived control. i hate it as much as i want it.

3 hours of sleep and i'm off for a shopiing extravaganza. good good. i might literally drop dead shopping. i've been yawning non stop since i got up and havent found the appetitte for anything.

anticipation kills everything she's not

kills.

i'm using my brother's laptop. i commend myself for being tip toeing all over the damn floor to wake my darling brother from his sleep to ask where the hell this technological device was.

but i anticipated, expected (okay, i know you get the idea) and was disappointed. right, so whats new.

thankfully, j's party was um..a place to forget things for a bit. :) met daryl and the very missed SN girls. a school gathering it was. i left the place feeling rather happy, aside feeling a little nauseous and a tad hungry.

so steph, marns, wyn, j, dith, clarissa and i headed down to newton for breakfast/supper. all i could muster after all that acid build up, was a warm cup of milo. works for me. :)

as my eye lids beg to shut, i'd just like to say that today/tonight/this morning was highly insightgul, thought provoking and heart warming.

yup, thats all you need to know for now. if you want details, ask. you know the number.

ta.

with you

I'm so absolutely tired. You can tell. If we had a discussion, I'd give single word answer. Or better still, I wont reply and stare at you blankly.

Who the hell said packing the day before was a possible task. Not when you have 2 years and most of your life's clothes here? Kill those pigs.

and to add to the annoyance, I have 5 flies buzzing around me, probably making friends, making out and making me highly irritable.

I'll be back in spore in less than 24 hours. Here's a conversation to show you my sentiments.

den: haha aye miss talking to you face to face!
me: den i miss you lots lots lots
me: will be back in less than 24 FLUSHING hours
me: i couldnt bring myself to type fucking
me: whoops
me: did i just..? ahhah

den: i wish i could go to the airport tmrw and welcome you with BLOODY BIG open arms!
den: i'm gonna call you when i finish (after she ends her history paper 2)
den: and if you dont pick up, i'm gonna kill you.

i like this friendship. loving it lots. only den and i speak to each other like that.

so i was a bloody retard. screw that. shit! i've used so many expletives in less than 30 seconds. TMD. another one! I wonder WTF is wrong.

For those who want to recieve me just like den,

SQ228:
leaves Melb at 5pm. Reaches Singapore at 9ish.
If not, call me on my mobile +65 96772880.

We'll make a pretty big exit anyhow. Imagine the 10 odd of us. (and possibly more from elsewhere)

Allen, if you read this, thanks for your internet! :) Take care and I'll see you soon. :)

the dense gray cloud

with a mouse click and a press on the delete button, the previous three to four paragraphs are now gone. not that anything i said before is invalid, but there're better perspectives to view situations from.

this should be a short entry on the latest happenings and what nots. just so people who actually give a damn would be in-the-know. so whats been up? aside from the ceiling and arguably the clouds, i've been a-okay. not the best extended stay, but its workable.

you might not want to know but i feel you need to know tht i've busted 7 days, about 12 hours a day catching up on the TV series popularly known as Desperate Housewives. :) Its good to watch, because it makes you think. its close to the epitome of thought provoking, emotionally sensitive and tugs at your heartstrings.

so as i was taking the lift down from pat's apartment, it hit me once again that what one wants, one may not have. its diffificult in a way because sometimes, we just need that little bit of time to realise...there're so many facets to poeple on this earth, of which we often seek 'peas'. okay bad joke for a emo entry.

but if there was one thing i've gathered from doing 2 years of essay writing and assignments, its that perceived control. you think all's going to run smoothly, but no one controls that. you think having an answer to your queries will help, but questions remain unnswered. you feel that having some knowledge helps, but it never actually comes into use. thats me, i like to have perceived control. it results in forseeable outcomes, fulfills initial aims and gives you that inner peace of mind.

but after tht tedious chase for answers, i still dont have a big fat clue.
looking beyong divine intervention...i need and would definitely appreciate answers.

becuase after all, chaos and mad situations arent that fun to live with.

this isnt as short as i thought it would be.

rubber band stretch

i just want to settle what is required here quick.

then leave on the first flight possible out of melbourne.

12 hours of sleep

the past few days've been, in a word, contemplative. the new found freedom (and bordemn) has made me sit straight up and give recent happenings in depth thought.

strange thoughts have been hitting me. and there're some issues which need to addressed and well sorted out.

i dont want to sound so mysterious so thats that.

aside from the contemplating, i have been catching with so many girlfriends including yi, zai jing, juls, eels and other guy friends.

my extra week here should be more pleasant than this, really.

and btw, anthony callea relly can sing.

Here, There and Everywhere

To lead a better life I need my love to be here...

Here, making each day of the year
Changing my life with a wave of her hand
Nobody can deny that there's something there

There, running my hands through her hair
Both of us thinking how good it can be
Someone is speaking but she doesn't know he's there

I want her everywhere and if she's beside me
I know I need never care
But to love her is to need her everywhere
Knowing that love is to share

Each one believing that love never dies
Watching her eyes and hoping I'm always there

I want her everywhere and if she's beside me
I know I need never care
But to love her is to need her everywhere
Knowing that love is to share

Each one believing that love never dies
Watching her eyes and hoping I'm always there
I will be there and everywhere
Here, there and everywhere
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING
AMANDA SOH WEI LING!

2pm and the wind is blowing

Juls and i were just sharing intimate details about our lives - how bored we were.

Pity she stays at La Trobe, which is just too frogs too far away from here, or we'll have lunch/coffee/supper dates together.

Alternatively, we could meet at the ct. (my new found fav, CT = CITY) -_-" i know.

Anyway, my one and only exam ended on Tuesday. That marked the end of my first year at the University of Melbourne.

I'm not punching my fists in the air. Maybe becuase I'm apprehensive about PBL. But whatever it is, my fingers are crossed.

Back to perusing websites and watching House/Greys Anatomy and random movies such as Anger Management. :)

Juls and I cme to a conclusion jsut now: There must be a point of convergence.

SURFIN USA BABY !

when the orange stressball just aint enough,
look out for the sunsets

and panic productively, as steph advocates.

or just get her visits once in a while. such a laughing pill. :)

And when all else fails, listen something along these lines...

If everybody had an ocean
Across the U.S.A.
everybody'd be surfingLike Californ-i-a
You'd see 'em wearin' their baggies
Huarachi sandals, too
A bushy, bushy blond hairdo
Surfin' U.S.A.

You'd catch 'em surfin' at Del Mar
Inside, outside, U.S.A.
Ventura County line
Inside, outside, U.S.A.
Santa Cruz and Tressels
Inside...Australia's Narabine
Inside...All over Manhattan
Inside...And down Doheny way
Inside...
Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S.A.

We'll all be planning out a route
We're gonna take real soon
We're waxin' down our surfboards
We can't wait for June
We'll all be gone for the summer
We're on safari to stay
Tell the teacher we're surfin'
Surfin' U.S.A.

You need a good old hippy song like this when you try to manage your stress. As steph's shirt says, panic productively. :)

Ohyeah.

Reb Bull has kicked in.

MELBOURNE'S dysfunctional public transport system will grind to a halt without massive investment, becoming a liability for the city's much-vaunted liveability.

Thats quite true you know... In fact, while they're at the whole Lets Review our Tranasport System, I suggest they do something about tram fees and international concession. I mean, $3.10 is daylight (and occasionally nightlight) robbery!

My obsession with different songs surface with the increasing stress levels.

And they're all embarrassing cheesy first class boyband songs -_-". We were all fans, werent' we? -hides face.

Anything but Ordinary

To walk within the lines
Would make my life so boring
I want to know that I
Have been to the extreme
So knock me off my feet
Come on now give it to me
Anything to make me feel alive
Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please.
Let down your defenses
Use no common sense
If you look you will see that this world is
A beautiful, accident, turbulent
,succulent, opulent, permanent
No way I wanna taste it
I don't wanna waste it away

obsessive compulsive disorder

Imagine me with this hat..
Or this one !

For those confused, No, I wasnt a spectator at the Melbourne Cup. Gee, if only I was there. Someday, I will. :) heh heh.

I need to rant. Okay...dont say I didnt warn you.

At this point in time, I reckon my disorder surfaces in many forms: sleeping, eating and blogging and and and... ranting...

But recently I've had too much sleep. For all my beauty darlings, I know I know, there's no such thing as too much when it comes to being rejuvinated. But omg, during exam period?

Look, I'm this close to my PBL exam, which constitues 55% of my grade. So tell me, what the frekkalinas is this insane, obstinate procrastinator ranting about? I dont know, really. AHHH. Right. Insanity is kicking in. Real fast.

Here's the deal. The Big Fat Deal: 5 days to study for my 55% exam and 4 days to complete 2 major essays. No kidding, 40% and 25% respectively. Okay, Maybe I'm just exaggerating the stress. But to be brutally frank, the stress is building up. Future Doctors, please note the rise in cortisol levels!

Now, I'm all psyched up with a Medium Latte with one sugar, bought from my usual coffee maker at Chill Out. I bet if he knew me by name, he'd address me. :)

So much going on in that little hemisphere up there its not funny.

haaaaaaaaaa.
Someone tell me a joke. Make me laugh.

MELBOURNE WEATHER

Wednesday:

Fine at first but a few showers and thunderstorms developing during the late afternoon and evening. A sultry day with cloud increasing and chiefly moderate to fresh north to northeasterly wind.

Current Temperature: 31 C
Forecast Max: 32 C
Wind Direction & Speed: S at 6 knots
Humidity: 46%

Firstly, it isnt fine. Its excruciatingly hot.
Secondly, they reported of showers yesterday too. No, all we got were random flies in our room after midnight.
Thridly, sultry day? Okay.
Lastly, Fresh Wind? I don't think so.

The weather is going to drive everyone here nuts. And is DA most important week before the exams. -_-"

Why like this...

But aside from the dreary and oh-so sizzling hot weather, I have good news. :) In fact, I have 2 pieces of good news! I don't sound estatic, excitement will build up when I get home. :D yayy.

Right, I just had a shower and I might need one again soon.

ROARRRRR.

wow. i need to start complaining.

Plus, its extra HOT HOT HOT today. We reckon its hotter here than Singapore. 31 degrees is just not funny lor.
