in sickness and health

Boredom has this real karma element to it. At least for me, it has. I've been hanging around the house feeling so absolutely jobless in all senses of the word. Its a good break, I've been told. But there is just so much one can do at home. This experience has given me insight into a housewives lifestyle.

I now know that the Ellen show is featured twice a day, once in the morning and another in the evening. That the Chinese dubbed Hong Kong dramas are repeated at 11am and 1pm respectively and that 24 is officially the channel to follow for the Australian Open. I've toyed with the idea of my t-shirt making but decided it could wait because it required a rather huge capital. The absolute by product of my boredom was buying a origami book yesterday. And its been pretty useful for killing time and well, basic following of instruction.

Just when I thought life couldnt get more boring, I fell ill. I am now down with a flu and have recovered from a sore throat. Otherwise, life is good and the search for the idea job continues.

The job search

I was told I should get this site up and running. I guess it might be better than forcing people to read about my life via email. Thanks Veron for suggesting, otherwise I'd still be rolling that dice wondering what I should do with keeping in touch.

This is incredible. I havent been at this site for so long, the chatbox is dysfunctional. The clocks are still ticking though. The updates probably wouldnt be as frequent because the days so far have been the routine of jon searching and catching up with friends. Its good to be home though. Takes adjusting from Melbourne but its good to be back.

Being back in Singapore means food, shopping (or the lack of) and catching up over coffee. Or being at home watching HBO and Discovery Channel all day. Oh, and reading about American History and US politics.

I miss the bunch from LA, and the crazy bunch from Melbourne. In another 2 years! Meanwhile, its chilling and family time in the red dot of SouthEastAsia.
